I just got back from an Aerial Yoga stretching class and it was sooooooo relaxing/fun/amazing. You use these handlebar things that hang from the ceiling and it lets you go way further into your stretches than you’d normally be able to.
We also used a swing-type thing towards the end of class that allowed us to go upside down. I get nervous with that type of stuff, but with the instructor’s help I did it! I had my hands on the ground and everything! I felt like a super cool trapeze artist or something, (just way less flexible).
It is a perfect thing to do on Friday evenings to unwind from the stresses of the week, so I will be sure to sign up for multiple classes in the future. :D
